I moved to Birmingham in 2008 with my daughter. St Columba’s school was very welcoming to us both at the time; I was attracted to the small size of the school and the family-centred approach. I began working at St Columba’s in 2012 and have enjoyed the challenges and opportunities I have been given. The school has gone through many changes during my time here and both staff and parents have been incredibly supportive and committed to seeing the school succeed. I am looking forward to the new direction the school is taking with the partnership that the Lumen Christi MAC provides. I believe that it is important for St Columba’s School to maintain its own identity within the MAC and that the history and demographics of the school is always considered within the decision making process.
