Science - exploring sound

British Science Week - Worm Charming! We tried many methods including tap dancing, drumming, singing our own "baby worm" song.

Lumen Christi Celebration Prayer Service - we joined together as a MAC to celebrate our first celebration day.

D&T - lollipop stick weaving

Art - This week we started creating our pantheon monuments.

We enjoyed debating "Should we have school uniform?" with Year 3. We prepared arguments FOR wearing school uniform.

We used percussion instruments to try to create the tension and build up of Holst's Mars: The Bringer of War

PE - gymnastics - we created sequences using different movements, levels, speed and direction

Art - We used our knowledge of foreground, middle ground and background to collaboratively create a nativity scene.

D&T Paper Weaving - we have been practising our weaving skills! We think we've done a great job!

Multi-Faith Week - Visit to Smethwick Gurdwara - We received such a warm welcome from everyone we met and learnt lots too!

D&T - Designing and making greenhouses

STACS Athletics - We were fortunate to be invited to Thomas Aquinas to participate in a Year 4 Athletics tournament. The children were amazing!

Investigating Digestion! The children were particularly repulsed by the waste part of the model!
