St Columba’s is a Catholic school with Christ’s teachings of love, peace and justice at the heart of all we do
Mission Team
The Mission Team in our Catholic primary school is a dedicated group of pupils who help lead and strengthen the Catholic life of our school community. They meet regularly to share ideas and plan activities that promote kindness, faith, and service, especially by supporting those less fortunate both locally and globally. Guided by the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, the team works together to put faith into action through fundraising, prayer, and outreach projects. They also work closely with our parish St Vincent de Paul (SVP) group, joining their mission to bring hope and practical help to those in need, living out the Gospel values in all they do.
The children met with Mrs Simmons and Miss Hill to complete their action plans for Autumn term. They shared their plans with Mrs Southerton and the rest of the school during an assembly.
