In this webinar Aaron will discuss autism and mental health issues, and how you can support children and young people using acceptance based approaches. Supporting Parents of Autistic Children
The CAT (Communication and Autism Team) would like to invite you to a CAT PAC course, our parent awareness course designed to support you following your child receiving a diagnosis of autism.
The course has been designed for parents who want to increase their understanding of autism and is open to all those whose children have a diagnosis of autism.
The sessions will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams at the following times: Thursday 11th November between 9.30 and 11a.m. Thursday 18th November between 9.30 and 11 a.m. Thursday 25th November between 9.30 and 11 a.m. Thursday 2nd December between 9.30 and 11 a.m. Thursday 9th December between 9.30 and 11 a.m. Thursday 16th December between 9.30 and 11 a.m.
ITP reviews take place with the SENDCo, class teacher and parents. Parents will be informed by a letter and a text message the day before. After the review meeting, parents will have a copy of their child's IEP for English and Maths.
A coffee morning will take place during the year, the date to be confirmed in the weekly newsletter.
