Messages from Miss Healy and Miss Clarke

17.10.25

A BIG THANK YOU to all who came to support the children in their mass. They did a fantastic job!

The children in year 2 have had a fantastic week. We have shown some fantastic learning behaviours as we have enjoyed learning about:

  • Tense in English

  • How to add across a ten in Maths

  • Sequencing moves in gymnastics in PE

  • Important scientists such as Edward Jenner and Louis Pasteur in Science

  • Significant events in Mary's life in RE

  • Our local area in Geography

  • The instrument families in music

We look forward to another interesting week.

Please ensure your child is wearing their PE kit on a Monday and a Thursday. If your child wears earrings, these can only be studs.

As the weather grows colder and wetter, please ensure your child is wearing a warm, waterproof coat with their name in.

This week’s prayer theme has been the Catholic Social Teaching: Family and Community

Dear God,
Thank you for our families who love and care for us.
Thank you for our friends who make us smile.
Help us to be kind, share with others, and listen well.
Teach us to pray with open hearts,
And to remember that you are always near.
Bless our school, our homes, and our world.
Help us to grow in love, just like Jesus.

Amen.

Be safe and enjoy your weekend,

Miss Healy and Miss Clarke
