I joined St Columba’s School as a Foundation Governor in September 2019. I feel privileged to be joining the school community and playing a part in shaping the future of the school. I am married with two children (a son and a daughter). My son is 25-years old, attended St John Fisher and St Thomas Aquinas and he is now a Paramedic. I am a keen advocate of volunteering for the community and he has volunteered for St John Ambulance since he was 8-years old. He is currently doing a Masters’ in Emergency Planning; I am extremely proud of him. My daughter is in year 6 at St Columba’s and is currently working hard towards her SATS. She loves dancing and is looking forward to joining St Pauls Girls School in September. My husband is a Surveyor. Although I grew up in West Heath and the Parish of St John Fisher, I currently live in Longbridge and attend mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour. I went to St John Fisher School and then on to St Thomas Aquinas. I have worked in Higher Education for a Russell Group University for over 20-years and my current role is to manage the Postgraduate Taught Team in the Medical School, ensuring that postgraduate programmes run effectively and efficiently. In my spare time I like to keep healthy by running and cycling. I like to spend time with my family and enjoy a good book.
